Washington D.C. is known for its history, culture, museums, delicious food scene, sports teams, and so much more, and I feel fortunate to be minutes away from these wonders. The very best view of the DMV, and all of its wonder, is the newly-opened View of D.C. Observation Deck at CEB Tower in Rosslyn, Virginia.
My littles and I were invited by our friends at TAA PR to preview the View of D.C. Observation Deck, at the CEB Tower, with the press and other bloggers (we saw you @anchyi!) for its public opening, and we could barely wait to return after our initial visit. The views are nothing short of incredible. Truly unparalleled! There is an indoor level with 360° views and an upper-level outdoor observation deck with glass walls (totally Instagram-able for the photo lovers out there). The indoor space is fantastic and perfect for beating the heat or staying warm, depending on the season. This space is super child-friendly, having minimal furniture and open spaces, and, of course, the views are endless.
During our viewing, we bumped into local blogger, Maria Helena Carey of @thehillishome, whose Instagram account I have been following for years! If you live in the city, definitely give her a follow for all things Capitol Hill and D.C. I captured an adorable candid of Parker chatting with @thehillishome. Super sweet, right?
Parker and Ava loved the views, and it goes without saying that I truly love the View of D.C. Observation Deck, too. We had a blast pointing out landmarks and spotting familiar places, only for me to realize that Parker is growing up so fast! I was amazed by what she recognized and remembered. There is a corner on the upper-level outdoor observation deck that looks pretty intimidating, but, as usual, Parker was fearless. She even turned around for a picture! Looking back on the experience, I realized, once again, how fortunate we are to live in a city in close proximity to two other incredible states.

The views from the View of D.C. Observation Deck were so spectacular that I just had to return in August to use the view of our beautiful city as the backdrop for my 30th birthday photo shoot, which was a super sweet gift from our family photographer, Christa Houser of CALH Photography.

The View of D.C. has an in-house cafe and bar and is metro accessible with plenty of stroller parking. If you're in the area, definitely give the the View of D.C. Observation Deck at CEB Tower a visit! I think you will love the views as much as we do.
