When my babies get sick, I feel absolutely helpless. They get sick, they recover and are back to normal. I start to feel some sense of relief and then BOOM! They’re sick... again. And by “sick” I mean runny noses like leaky faucets, nagging coughs that interrupt peaceful sleep and around the clock nursing for baby who has suddenly lost her appetite for anything except breastmilk. It's exhausting, for the entire family.
